Been a while....
Hi all- It has been a while since anyone has posted... It has been a busy summer for us. the boys are playing tackle football this year and have been attending practice 3-5 days a week. they had their jamboree this last Saturday and had a great time. Their dad is quite proud! they wear black and yellow which are the colors of Ray's high school football team.

Earlier this summer we spent 10 days at the beach using Ray's parents 5th-wheel. It was fun and relaxing. we took day trips to the tide pools and got to see hundreds of pelicans, a baby harbor seal, and many little creatures at the pools. We did alot of swimming in the pool at the thousand trails place we stayed at. we did some beach walking and discovered that Rese is absolutely terrified of the water, while Tess was neck deep in the water.

Stephanie and the kids, Kai, Kolbie, Sadiyah, and Sadiyah's sister Amiyah, came to visit us over night. They had a great time playing on the beach and in the water... it was really tight quarters in the trailer, but we managed and had a great time

Just one short week and both Martay and Robert will be officially "middle school" kids... I am sad that they are growing up sooo fast, but they are both quite handsome and growing so tall. Besides football, they have been enjoying fishing with their dad and family friend. I even went out and tried fishing during my vacation. Wahoo.. It isn't my favorite thing to do, but my youngest son informed me that it was the best day he had ever had with me... Just the fact that I went made his whole day.
We have a new addition to our family. Her name is Izzy and she is a 10 1/2 week old Jack Russell Terrier. She currently weighs around 3 1/2 lbs. She is really cute and spends quite alot her time napping. Rese thinks she is a pretty cool chew toy, but gets along really well with her. Of course the two of them are under 24 hr observation just in case Rese gets a little carried away. We would hate for her to get squished. Tess doesn't like her one bit and makes sure that she knows it. This doesn't deterr little Izzy who gets sooo excited to see her she practically turns herself inside out.
Martay and Robert absolutely love her and are quick to help out... They really like her when she is sleeping as she gets quite snuggly.

Well... I love you all and would love to see some updates and pics of your family.

How fun, Stacey! Love the photos and catching up with you on the blog... I can't believe those boys are in middle school. It takes my breath away to see how quickly they grow up!
love you!
Hurray! I am glad you go some time to post a blog. I have not had the time or energy lately and am actually contemplating starting our own family blog, due to out of state friends wanting updates. Anyway, those are too cute pictures. I have some cute ones of Izzy too from our Sauvie Island trip. Plus some pictures of us making smores when we camped with you for a night. Loved hearing and seeing updates. Love Steph
Okay, so I'm lazy. Maybe I'll have anniversary photos to Victoria BC posted by Thanksgiving. I did like seeing the pics of the boys and we did enjoy our brief time at the Jamboree! It was fun! Love ya, Mom
