Whirlwind in NYC
Hey everyone! It's so nice to hear that our Londoners are doing well and that the adventure is continuing. Our own little saga continues to develop here. . . indulge me. . .
Nathaniel is now one after a birthday extravaganza here in our apartment with about 8-9 children under the age of 4. Nathaniel has started walking now and has begun to open drawers and try to climb into the bathtub at every turn. He has decided to start the terrible twos at one with his attitude and has already been challenging the boundaries of right and wrong. (Our poor plant "Lazarus" has died and come to life more times than I can count because Nathaniel has de-potted it so many times).
The holidays are always a crazy time for everyone, so Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Daphnie is now a citizen of the US, she got a new job (started yesterday and going quite well), commuting to Long Island on a daily basis. We have been house hunting in our non-existent spare time and finally found a great little house in Long Island (West Hempstead to be exact) with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and a full basement. Our offer was accepted on Saturday and I am going to have the house inspected this afternoon. Lawyers and mortgage brokers are the next step and then a large sum of borrowed money, you get the idea. . .
We are very excited about this next (large) step and covet your continued prayers that everything would go smoothly. Love all of you and miss you terribly. Come visit, we have a place for you to stay now. . . at least we will in April.
Love,
Scott, Daphnie and Nathaniel the Great

I glad to hear that you now have a home to look forward to. We will be praying as you requested. God has it ALL under control and knows exactly how it should go. Julie & I are so looking forward to seeing you in June. We have our flights, but they aren't booked yet - final details to work out. We are planning on flying in on Sat so we can go to church - YEAH! As far as Nathaniel goes - what a doll! I know that he seems like a handfull now, but kids are such a blessing and you are doing great as parents.
Love ya and see ya soon,
Marty (Julie, Alex, & Gab to)
Don't ya just love boys. I think it is awesome, I get a little tired of the messes to clean up, but I wouldn't trade the kid for the world just like you couldn't trade him for the world. We shall see what miss mouse will be up to, but thankfully that won't be for a t least 8 more months until she can move around the room. Kai is in training of cleaning up his toys (especially the small ones) and he is doing alright. He is excited for the baby and I can't wait to see you all again, whenever that might be. I miss you all and want to just smooch Nate's little face. Congrats about the house and like you said it can be stressful, but you will be so much happier with the space and the investment when it is all over with.
Take care and I will talk to you all soon
Love steph
So good to hear updates on all of you! Congrats on the offer going through and our prayers are with you as the inspection and loan paperwork goes through... we love you both!
